The original Carrera watch, dating back to 1963, is a watch born out of Jack Heuer’s desire to make a chronograph with outstanding readability. Compared to earlier chronographs, it was much more minimalist in look, doing away with anything that was not necessary.
We started designing Carreras since 2003, honouring the original whilst continuously evolving the DNA making Carrera one of the most successful Swiss chronographs.

At the beginning of the manufacturing process is a block of finest stainless steel. Fifteen complex stamping tools later, and you get the unique angular Carrera case we all know and love.
It is one of the most minimalist cases ever made, but by far not the simplest to produce.
