Whilst shower toilets have been popular in the Far East for decades, Europe has been slow to adopt the hygienic trend. The design of previous and existing shower toilets has done little to encourage new adopters in Europe, but given the current state of technology, our client Geberit felt there was no reason for a comfortable shower toilet to differ in appearance from a normal, elegant toilet.

Christoph Behling Design and Geberit have collaborated to design a solution which is virtually identical to a normal toilet at first glance, whilst containing an incredible amount of technology.

By featuring the very highest level of technology, design and comfort, the AquaClean Mera sets standards in every respect. The design of the compact solution combines high-quality materials, soft lines and flowing transitions that impressed the judging panel of the Red Dot design awards 2015.
